A great time to build your child's social communication skills
About Our Summer Camps
Social Butterflies Club and Monarch Club
Summer is a great time to build your child’s social communication skills! Our summer camps run 4 consecutive days a week, Monday-Thursday, for two hours each day. There is also optional before and after program opportunities to make a day of it! We have several group levels during Summer Camp. Our Social Butterflies Club Camps are for ages 3-8 and our Monarch Club Camps are for ages 9-16.
In our Social Butterflies Club camps, there is a new theme each week that incorporates social communication skills, language skills, speech skills, sensory integration and fine/gross motor skills. The children have a fun time making crafts, cooking foods, playing games and interacting with peers. They don’t even know that they are working on objectives!
Our camp programs are structured similarly to our traditional once per week groups. However, camp programs are a more intensive approach to social learning as it is 2 hours per day for 4 consecutive days. Children enrolled in our camp programs make tremendous progress over short periods of time. Our specialized curriculum uses fun, structured activities to develop social, communication, motor, sensory, and play skills.
The Monarch Club provides individuals with the next level of social skills in alignment with their unique challenges and developmental needs. Individual and group therapy will be combined to provide targeted support in a safe clinical and social environment. Groups will target topics such as relationships, job skills, social skills development, executive functioning, self-esteem, social cognition, social interaction, and much more!
Groups are facilitated by certified speech-language pathologists and/or occupational therapists. additionally, all of our assistants are trained in our program and sensory integration techniques.
